What is this? All yesterday it sleeted and snowed. Last night our yard was blanketed in the white stuff and it was still here this morning! Why couldn't this stuff happen in WINTER...it's SPRING now! Andy, I think we need a meteorologist's perspective.

So Cool!

Tonight after my Verdi rehearsal I stopped by IUS where Mom and Dad were at the observatory looking at the planets. These past few day five planets (Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn) were all visible with the naked eye in the night sky. We were able to view the planets and the moon through their telescopes. Jupiter and Saturn were unbelievable! With Jupiter you could see four moons around it and two red rings across the planet. With Saturn it looked almost unreal because it was so clear the sphere with the rings, plus its moons. It is such an amazing experience to look at these planets that are so far away. Wow!
