Yeah, so here we (Ryan and me) are at the University of Kentucky (oops, I almost typed Louisville). We are supposed to be at the Bluegrass Choral Music Festival, but instead are scoping out the UK Music Library. It is actually the Fine Arts library. We found out that we are able to get IDs and check out things from the library. That will be so nice.
I was able to find information on a piece that I am doing with one of my groups. I was curious about the prolation in the music, so I looked it up. It is a piece by Jacobus Clemens non Papa. I thought it was an Adoramus te (according to the edition I have), but to my surprise the Adoramus te is from a larger piece, O crux benedicta. Oh, so many thanks for stupid editions of music that leave out 3/4 of the actual piece. Oi. Anyway, I now know the rest of the piece and can get my group going on that portion. I'll be damned if I do just that short segment.

Ok, so I guess I will be damned. I don't have time to teach the rest of the piece, so I guess I will do this portion for the Winter concert and do the rest on the Spring concert. Oh well.
