Here is a great idea I got from Ryan's mom that made me feel a little less wasteful:
Use your old Christmas cards as next year's Christmas gift labels. Just cut the card at the fold. Discard the signed inside and keep the front picture as the label. Kinda neat!
Also, if you purchase a real tree for Christmas take advantage of Christmas tree recycling centers.
